Maggie Hood is the daughter of Victor and Janalin Hood of Chanute, KS. She is a homeschooled high school senior and is a member and competitive breakaway roper in the Kansas High School Rodeo Association. She also is the proud owner behind The Painted Pony Photography.

In the future, she plans on furthering her education by obtaining a graphic design degree while competing in college rodeo as a NIRA member. Maggie has a God-lit fire to promote the western lifestyle and rich rodeo heritage of those who came before her. As Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas 2025, she is honored to travel the state of Kansas promoting the greatest sport on dirt, while encouraging others to 

“Be the Light.”
